Trevignano is fast becoming the place to be - especially at weekends. It has always been the more exclusive of the towns around Lake Bracciano but even more so with the opening of several new bistros this year. We wouldn't know how to choose between them....and it feels all so....Parisien, except instead of the Seine you get an enormous breathtaking stretch of water in front of you, and promenaders aplenty.
We had a scan of the menus and they all looked good to me! A mixture of Italian traditional and modern.
The only thing is, you really need a car to get here and imagine what fun parking can be on busy days. Best to arrive early. It can be done by train (to Anguillara) but then you need to hope a bus will pass to take you the rest of the way.
We love it here because this is where we come to kayak and where we organise day trips. It's so pretty and so relaxing. If we didn't live in Rome we'd probably live here.
