January
  • Epiphany & Living Nativity 6th Jan, some until 7th or 8th Jan. Main ones: in Sutri, Roncilgione, Vetralla, Civita Bagnoregio, Tarquinia and many others.
  • Festival of St. Antony, in various villages around the province, with animal benedictions. Bagnaia has a good one with a massive bonfire in the main square.
February
  • Ronciglione – Carnival (also Vignanello, Cività Castellana, Acquapendente).
  • Gradoli – Purgatorial lunch festival dating back to 16th Century. Held on Ash Wednesday.
March
  • Gradoli – Purgatorial lunch festival dating back to 16th Century. Held on Ash Wednesday (occasionally falling in March).
April
  • Tarquinia –  Livestock Branding Festival & ‘Culture Week Tuscia’ beg/mid April.
  • Cannino – Wild Asparagus Festival.
  • Bomarzo – Palio of Anselmo in costume, plus biscuit festival.
  • Acquapendente – “Fair Bells” medieval fair, origins dating back to 1150 AD – 1st Sunday after Easter.
May
  • Nepi – Pecorino Romano Festival plus other typical products of Tuscia.
  • Marta – “La Barabbata” an ancient pagan festival which later became Christian.
  • Montalto di Castro – 3-day Asparagus Festival, with stalls & archaeological visit to Vulci.
  • Vetralla – Wedding of the Trees ancient pagan festival / ritual which takes place in the forest.
June
  • Tarquinia – Game Fair (last weekend of May to first weekend of June).
  • Nepi – “Palio del Saracino” is a medieval re-enactment in honour of Lucretia Borgia: 'Lady of Nepi'. 
  • Bolsena – “Corpus Domini” where the streets are decorated with thousands of flower petals (“Infiorita”).
  • Sant’Angelo di Rocalvecce – Cherry Festival.
  • Sutri – The “Mercantantia” with games & tournaments of the Middle Ages. 
July
  • Viterbo – Tuscia Opera Festival.
  • Ferento – “Stagione Teatrale di Ferento” Theatre Season on the Roman theatre in Ferento (Shakespear, Mozart etc.)
  • Lubriano – “Valle dei Calanchi wine festival” (part of the Tuscia winefest). 
  • Civitella d’Agliano – festa “nelle terre del Greghetto” (part of the Tuscia winefest) wine-tasting from 39 cellars.
  • Gradoli – (until beg Aug) Aleatico wine festival (part of the Tuscia winefest). 
  • Sutri – Beethoven Festival (until mid-October) with some performances in the Ancient Roman Amphitheatre.
August
  • Montefiascone – “In Cantina con Defuk” wine festival (part of the Tuscia winefest) wine-tasting with sommelier products.
  • Tarquinia – “divini Etrusco” all the wines of Etruria (part of the Tuscia winefest).
  • Castiglione in Teverina – “Colle del Tevere(part of the Tuscia winefest) and Wine Museum visit.
  • Vignanello – “Colli Etruschi Viterbese, Cerveteri, Tarquinia (part of the Tuscia winefest).
September
  • Oriolo Romano – Porcini Mushroom Festival.
October
  • Bagnoregio – Woodland festival with mushrooms and other food from the woods.
  • Calcata – Halloween festivities.
  • Soriano nel Cimino – Chestnut Festival with Medieval ‘Palio’ (horserace)
  • Tuscania – Festival of Melted Chocolate, (ancient local recipe) hot chocolate served in a cup with sweet buns.
November
  • Tuscia Oil Festival – in various towns & villages of the province.
  • Il Regno di Babbo Natale - Vetralla. This translates as "Santa's Kingdom" and is a great experience for the whole family.
December
  • Canino – Olive Tree Festival.
  • Soriano nel Cimino – Festival of ‘new olive oil’ (Olio Novello).
  • Christmas Village - Sutri. The entire old town of Sutri is transformed, with wooden kiosks, activities, food stalls, nativities and more!
